John Lee Hancocks Fernseh-Projekt "The Wreck" könnte schon bald grünes Licht bekommen. Wie die Filmzeitung Hollywood Reporter am 23. Juni 2010 berichtet, will der US-Sender AMC das Sportdrama ausstrahlen. Im Mittelpunkt steht ein einst erfolgreicher Football-Trainer, dessen College-Mannschaft eine miserable Saison hinter sich hat. Das Drehbuch stammt von Graham Gordy und Michael Fuller. Hancock machte zuletzt als Regisseur von "Blind Side - Die große Chance" mit Sandra Bullock auf sich aufmerksam.
